Oregon Inlet Fishing Report May 7, 2014
Fishing out of Oregon Inlet has seen some good tuna action; Point Runner out of Oregon Inlet Fishing Center has reported really good catches of blackfin tuna. Albacore and amberjacks were also caught offshore. Other boats were able to locate a few yellowfin tuna and some gaffer dolphin. Rock Solid Fishing had a good day with blacktips offshore and nice catches of jack crevalles.
The weather forecast for Thursday is SW winds 10 to 15 knots with waves 3-5 feet subsiding to 2-4 feet – remaining consistent tonight with winds a little higher. Fridays weather looks to remain the same with the fishing conditions looking good going in to the weekend.
